Did you know DhanTeras is also known as Dhanatrayodashi? But do you know why?

In Hinduism, this day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Dhanvantari. His is known as God of medicine and health, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and the King of Varanasi. Legends say, he imparted his knowledge of Ayurveda to the world to help rid it of illness and diseases on this day.
